Dal 31 agosto al 3 settembre 2023 si è svolto a Bukavu (RDC), presso il Collegio Alfajiri dei padri Gesuiti, un simposio sul tema: "Giustizia, riconciliazione e pace nella regione dei Grandi Laghi, alla luce dell'ispirazione dell'impegno socio-politico del Vescovo Munzihirwa". Relatori provenienti da diverse nazioni hanno presentato il pensiero, la filosofia e la spiritualità di Mons. Munzihirwa. Al termine di questo Simposio, si è deciso di creare una fondazione “Mons. Munzihirwa” per sostenere e promuovere la giustizia, la riconciliazione e la pace nella regione dei Grandi Laghi. (Barthélemy Kabwana Minani sx)

From August 31^st to September 3^rd, 2023, a symposium on the theme “Justice, Reconciliation and Peace in the Great Lakes Region in light of Bishop Munzihirwa’s socio-political commitment and inspiration” was held at the Alfajiri College of the Jesuit Fathers in Bukavu (DRC). Speakers from different countries introduced Msgr. Munzihirwa’s thought, philosophy and spirituality. At the end of this symposium, it was decided to create a “Msgr. Munzihirwa” Foundation for the support and promotion of justice, reconciliation and peace in the Great Lakes Region. (Barthélemy Kabwana Minani s.x.)
