L'Antologia dei Testi di San Conforti, proposta in italiano dai pp. Ermanno Ferro sx e Alfiero Ceresoli sx nel 2007 - e già tradotta in inglese - è ora disponibile anche in francese, in 5 volumi maneggevoli (di 130-150 pagine ciascuno), che contengono ciascuno una serie di voci relative a un tema.

Scrive il p. Armando Coletto sx nella presentazione: “Significativa del suo pensiero e della sua spiritualità, quest'opera confortiana rischia di non essere mai conosciuta o sfruttata dai confratelli che non padroneggiano l'italiano e nemmeno dai madrelingua italiani, perché spesso ci sono vecchi termini e frasi difficili da cogliere nel loro contesto. Un'équipe di traduttori, composta in primis dai padri Domenico Milani e Antonio Trettel, si è prefissata di offrire una traduzione in lingua francese di molti testi dell’Antologia confortiana”.

I 5 volumi sono pubblicati nelle edizioni del Centro Documentazione Saveriani Roma (CDSR). Ogni volume ha una breve presentazione volta ad attualizzare il contenuto dei testi confortiani:

The anthology of writings by St Conforti, which was prepared in Italian by Frs. Ermanno Ferro s.x. and Alfiero Ceresoli s.x. in 2007 and has already been translated into English, is now available in French too. The French edition is made of 5 handy volumes (between 130 and 150 pages) that encompass a series of entries under specific themes.

In the introduction, Fr. Armando Coletto s.x. writes: “The original anthology, which very well presents Conforti’s thought and spiritualty, risks remaining unknown or neglected, not only by those confreres that do not master the Italian language, but even by Italians, for often there are obsolete words and sentences that are difficult to understand. A team of translators, started by Fr. Domenico Milani and Fr. Antonio Trettel, set themselves the goal of offering a French translation of many texts selected from Antologia Confortiana.”

The 5 volumes are published by Xaverian Documentation Centre – Rome (Centro Documentazione Saveriani Roma – CDSR). Each volume opens with a short introduction that underscores the relevance of Conforti’s texts today:
