Nel contesto della “nuova normalità” e del 50° anniversario della fondazione di questa comunità formativa, abbiamo celebrato la solennità del nostro Fondatore, San Guido Maria Conforti. Nella nostra cappella, finemente decorata, P. Juan Jorge Rosales Rodríguez sx, insieme ai padri della comunità, ha presieduto l'Eucaristia. Alla celebrazione hanno partecipato alcuni nostri benefattori, amici e membri dei vari gruppi del Laicato Saveriano. I Laici Saveriani e i giovani studenti, coordinati da P. José Luis Castillo Aguirre sx, hanno preparato molto bene questa solennità. Durante la celebrazione eucaristica, il giovane confratello Javier Barrón González sx ha rinnovato la sua consacrazione religiosa e missionaria nelle mani del Superiore Regionale, P. Juan Jorge. Dopo la messa, ci siamo ritrovati tutti insieme nei giardini del seminario dove abbiamo condiviso un momento di famiglia, mangiando dei saporiti e sostanziosi “tacos”. Un semplice brindisi in onore del nostro Padre Fondatore, Pastore e Missionario, ha coronato l’incontro festivo. (Juan Olvera Servín sx)

We celebrated the solemnity of our Founder in this new situation of coexistence with the pandemic and on the 50^th anniversary of the foundation of this formation community. Fr. Juan Jorge Rosales Rodríguez sx, along with other fathers of the community, presided over the Mass in our newly decorated chapel. Some benefactors, friends and members of various groups of Lay Xaverians were also in attendance. Under the direction of Fr. P. José Luis Castillo Aguirre s.x., the lay Xaverians and our young students prepared the celebration in an excellent manner. During the Mass, our young confrere Javier Barrón González s.x. renewed his  religious and missionary consecration in the hands of the Regional superior Fr. Juan Jorge. After the Eucharist, we all gathered in the gardens of the seminary to share a family moment and eat large, delicious tacos. To cap the happy event off, we toasted to our Father Founder, who was shepherd and missionary. (Juan Olvera Servín s.x.)
