Sabato 28 novembre 2020, intorno alle 6.00 a.m. è deceduto presso l’Hospice delle Piccole Figlie di Parma, per insufficienza respiratoria, P. Luigi Zucchinelli. P. Luigi aveva 83 anni, essendo nato il 13.11.1937 a Sforzatica di Dalmine (Bergamo – IT). Le esequie sono state celebrate Martedì 1° dicembre ’20 a Parma alle ore 10:00, nel Santuario San Guido Maria Conforti, e a Sforzatica di Dalmine (BG), nella Parrocchia di sant’Andrea, alle ore 15:00. La salma è stata tumulata nel cimitero locale.

Martedì 1° dicembre 2020, alle ore 7.00 a.m., la comunità della casa generalizia ha celebrato l’eucaristia, presieduta da p. Eugenio Pulcini, in suffragio del confratello con la partecipazione e condivisione del nipote Mons. Luigi Ginami, molto legato allo zio e ai Missionari Saveriani. Durante la celebrazione Eucaristica è stato letto anche un messaggio inviato dal Segretario di Stato, Card. Parolin, esprimendo riconoscenza, stima e preghiera per questo missionario buono e fedele.

Fr- Luigi Zucchinelli, s.x. died on November 28^th – 2020, at 6:00 am, at the Hospice of the Little Daughters of Parma.  Fr. Luigi was born on November 13^th – 1937 in the town of Sforzatica (Bergamo – IT), and was now 83 years old. The funeral was celebrated on Tuesday, December 1^st – 2020,  in Parma at 10:00 am, in the Mother House church of St. Guido Maria Conforti.  The celebration of his funeral was then repeated in the parish church St. Andrew, of the town of Sforzatica. The body was buried in the local cemetery. 

On Tuesday, December 1^st – 2020, the Xaverian community of the House of the Generalate in Rome celebrated the Eucharist, presided by Fr. Eugenio Pulcini, s.x., remembering the life and death of our Xaverian Confrere, Fr. Luigi Zucchinelli, s.x.  Mons. Luigi Ginami, nephew of the deceased, participated and shared his closeness with his uncle and with the Xaverian Missionaries.  During the Eucharistic Celebration, a message was sent by the Secretary of State, Card. Parolin, expressing gratitude, esteem and prayer for this good and faithful missionary.
