Gustave Kagarabi Cibangala sx, giovane saveriano congolese di Bukavu, è l’autore della risonanza di questa settimana che ha come titolo: Un cuore che abbraccia e coinvolge. La Lettera Testamento di Conforti come sussidio d’animazione missionaria e vocazionale. Gustave ha 25 anni ed è il più giovane di nove fratelli e sorelle (tra questi c’è anche il confratello, p. Serge Kabalama Cibangala sx, attualmente al Collegio Conforti per ottenere la Licenza in Missiologia). Gustave è entrato nei saveriani nel 2013. Ha seguito i primi anni di formazione a Bukavu e, dopo aver emesso la prima professione religiosa a Kinshasa nel 2019, è stato destinato allo studentato teologico di Parma, dove sta frequentando il primo anno di teologia. Nella sua riflessione, Gustave propone il Conforti come modello di animatore missionario ricordandoci che «l’esperienza ci insegna che la gioia cresce quando viene condivisa. Questo vale anche per un tesoro, per un carisma. Se ne contempla la bellezza nella condivisione, nel tramandare».

This week’s resonance is written by Gustave Kagarabi Cibangala, s.x., a young Xaverian from Bukavu, Congo. The title is: A Heart, Which Embraces and Involves.  The Testament Letter of Conforti as a Missionary and Vocational Gift”. Gustave is 25-year-old and the youngest of nine brothers and sisters. Among them, there is our confrere Fr. Serge Kabalama Cibangala, s.x., currently at the Collegio Conforti in Rome pursuing a License in Missiology. Gustave joined the Xaverians in 2013. During the first years of formation, he was in Bukavu and, after his First Religious Missionary Profession in Kinshasa in 2019, he was assigned to study theology in the Xaverian Mother House in Parma, Italy, where now he is attending the first year of Theological Studies. Gustave describes Conforti as a model of missionary educator. He reminds us that “experience teaches us that joy grows when it is shared. This applies also to the treasure of our charism. Its beauty is felt and experienced as we try to share it and pass it on”.
