Da dove veniamo
Ci sono molte storie che raccontano come i nostri confratelli predecessori hanno dimostrato di amare veramente la loro vocazione saveriana proprio in questa terra di missione che è l’Indonesia. Ecco alcune di queste storie.
»Senso di appartenenza è la prima caratteristica, per noi molto importante, soprattutto per dedicarsi alla missione in Indonesia. Abbiamo visto che tanti confratelli saveriani provenienti dall’Italia, hanno avuto questo coraggio: lasciare il proprio paese e dedicarsi fino all’ultimo respiro alla missione in Indonesia
»Abbiamo visto che questi confratelli hanno donato tutto di sé, la loro mente e le forze, dimostrando una grande passione per il servizio al vangelo ed anche per le persone a loro affidate dal Signore. Lasciavano la parrocchia per alcuni giorni, settimane o addirittura un mese, per visitare le succursali/i villaggi, per insegnare il catechismo, visitare le famiglie, amministrare i sacramenti, ecc.

Where we come from
There are many stories of how our confreres predecessors have shown that they truly loved their Xaverian vocation in this very mission land that is Indonesia. Here are some of these stories.
Sense of belonging is the first characteristic, very important for us, especially to dedicate oneself to the mission in Indonesia. We have seen that many Xaverian confreres from Italy have had this courage: to leave their country and dedicate themselves until the last breath to the mission in Indonesia.
We saw that these brothers gave all of themselves, their mind and strength, demonstrating a great passion for the service of the Gospel and also for the people entrusted to them by the Lord. They would leave the parish for a few days, weeks or even a month, to visit branches/villages, teach catechism, visit families, administer the sacraments, etc.
