Durante l’eucarestia, il padre Gobbi ci ha invitato a chiedere la grazia del discernimento fatto di pazienza e di saggezza, attraverso l’immagine suggestiva dei pescatori del Bangladesh che raccolgono le reti dal mare e sanno distinguere con maestria i pesci da ritenere e quelli da ributtare in acqua perché crescano di più.
Le sedute sono iniziate con un tono di soddisfazione: il comitato di coordinamento riunitosi ieri sera apprezza l’andamento dei lavori e sta lavorando per proporre il testo da presentare all’assemblea e che sarà l’espressione della Cosuma sulla formazione permanente (FP).
Sono state presentate le relazioni sulle Circoscrizioni dell’Europa, iniziando dalla Delegazione Centrale che prevede ben tre comunità, su quattro, che hanno come specificità la FP. Partendo dalla nuova RFX, sono stati ricordati alcuni temi importanti per la FP negli incontri comunitari e nelle diverse attività: approfondimento delle Scritture, interculturalità e volto umano del saveriano, lettura dei segni dei tempi nel proprio contesto missionario, etc.
La Regione italiana sottolineava il risvolto positivo del postmodernismo che ci spinge a sviluppare un’intelligenza emotiva, a parlare col cuore, ad approfittare delle attività proposte nella FP (incontri per settori di attività, settimane culturali, convegni, e vita comunitaria con i suoi appuntamenti regolari) per mettere insieme competenza e cuore, ricerca e condivisione di un cammino.
La Spagna e il Regno Unito hanno descritto il lavoro di ricerca che il piccolo gruppo di confratelli svolge per proporre nel loro contesto un contributo specifico di FP: l’impegno personale a gettare il buon seme anche sul granito e lo sguardo positivo sulla realtà detta del post-cristiano ci hanno rincuorato, soprattutto quando abbiamo letto la citazione del papa Francesco: “ Colui che rischia non sarà mai deluso dal Signore” (EG 3).
Abbiamo terminato la giornata con due appuntamenti classici del giovedì : l’adorazione per tutti i saveriani e la pizza per la comunità di Tavernerio.

Pendant l’eucharistie, le père Gobbi nous a invité à demander la grâce du discernement, fait de patience et de sagesse, à travers l’image évocatrice des pêcheurs du Bangladesh qui ramassent les filets de la mer et savent distinguer avec maîtrise les poissons à retenir et ceux qu’il faut jeter à nouveau dans l’eau pour qu’ils grandissent davantage.
Les séances ont commencé avec un ton de satisfaction : le comité de coordination qui s’est réuni hier soir a apprécié le déroulement de ces premiers jours de Cosuma et il est en train de travailler pour proposer à l’Assemblée le texte qui sera l’expression de la Cosuma sur la FP.
Nous avons écouté les relations sur les Circonscriptions de l’Europe, en commençant par la Délégation Centrale qui a trois communautés sur quatre dont le but prioritaire est la FP. En partant de la nouvelle RFX, ont été rappelés les thèmes importants pour la FP dans les rencontres communautaires et dans les différentes activités : approfondissement des Écritures, interculturalité et visage humain du Xavérien, lecture des signes des temps dans son contexte missionnaire, etc.
La Région italienne soulignait le côté positif du postmodernisme qui nous pousse à développer une intelligence émotive, à parler avec le cœur, à profiter des activités proposées dans la FP (rencontres par secteurs d’activité, semaines culturelles, congrès, et vie communautaire avec ses rendez-vous réguliers) pour conjuguer compétence et cœur, recherche et partage d’un parcours.
L’Espagne et le Royaume Uni ont décrit le travail de recherche que le petit groupe de confrères assume pour proposer dans leur milieu une contribution spécifique de FP : l’engagement personnel à jeter la bonne semence même dans le beton et le regard positif sur la réalité de la post-chrétienneté nous a fort touchés, surtout quand nous avons lu la citation du pape François : « Celui qui risque, le Seigneur ne le déçoit pas » (EG 3).
Nous avons terminé la journée avec deux rendez-vous typiques du jeudi : l’adoration pour le monde xavérien et la pizza pour la communauté de Tavernerio.

During the Eucharist, Fr. Gobbi invited us to ask for the grace of a discernment made up of patience and courage; he illustrated this point by referring to the fishermen of Bangladesh who gather their nets and expertly identify the fish that should be thrown back into the water so that they may grow even more.
The day’s work began with a note of satisfaction: the coordinating committee voiced its approval of the way our discussions are unfolding and is now working on a text to present to the assembly and which will be the voice of the Cosuma on Ongoing Formation.
The European Circumscriptions presented their reports, beginning with the Central Delegation, which has three out of four communities dedicated specifically to Ongoing Formation. Taking the new RFX as the starting point, some important topics of Ongoing Formation were emphasized in connection with the community meetings and the various activities: a deeper knowledge of Scripture; interculturality and the Xaverian’s humanity; reading the signs of the times in our own missionary context, etc.
The Italian Region stressed the positive aspects of the post-modern world, which urges us to develop an emotional intelligence, to speak from the heart, and take full advantage of the proposed Ongoing Formation activities (sector meetings, cultural weeks, conferences, community life with its regular commitments), in order to combine competence and the heart, research and sharing.
Spain and the United Kingdom described the work they are doing to elaborate an Ongoing Formation Project for their own contexts: a personal commitment and a positive outlook on the post-Christian are encouraging, especially when we read the words of Pope Francis: “The Lord does not disappoint those who risk” (EG 3).
We ended the day with Adoration and a pizza with the Tavernerio community.
