L’ 11 febbraio 2026, i consigli dei Saveriani e delle Saveriane in Giappone si sono incontrati. Motivati dal desiderio di rafforzare la collaborazione nelle iniziative missionarie, è nata la gioia dell’incontro, espressa attraverso una preghiera.

Semplice, ma capace di raccogliere il cuore del carisma che ci unisce, ispirato a San Francesco Saverio e a San Guido Maria Conforti. In essa, oltre ogni nostra personale inconsistenza, chiediamo al Signore, per la missione della Chiesa, il dono di una maggiore capacità di apertura, ascolto, incontro e discernimento con tutti, per testimoniare e annunciare con efficacia il Vangelo di Gesù Cristo.

La preghiera, nata in giapponese e poi tradotta in italiano, è ora offerta a tutti.

Ogni terzo giovedì del mese: “Giorno della Famiglia Carismatica Saveriana”.

Preghiera della Famiglia carismatica Saveriana

Signore nostro Dio, da luoghi diversi, ci hai radunati e chiamati alla stessa missione.

Al di là delle distanze e delle differenze, guidaci per mezzo del tuo Spirito, verso la comunione.

Sull’esempio di san Francesco Saverio, che ha portato il Vangelo oltre ogni confine, dona anche a noi un cuore che sappia valorizzare ogni incontro.

Fa’ che noi, come Famiglia carismatica Saveriana, possiamo stimarci a vicenda, ascoltarci con attenzione, discernere insieme e camminare insieme.

Sostienici nella nostra debolezza, e donaci la grazia di riconoscere la tua volontà anche nei piccoli passi del nostro cammino.

Illuminaci con la luce dello Spirito Santo, e guidaci sulla via della pace e dell’unità.

San Guido Maria Conforti, intercedi per noi, perché possiamo camminare come un’unica famiglia che vive il tuo carisma.

Per Cristo nostro Signore. Amen.

On February 11^th, 2026, the regional councils of the Xaverian Fathers and the Xaverian Sisters held a meeting to foster collaboration in missionary initiatives. It was cause of great joy that was expressed in a prayer. It is a simple text which, however, manages to encapsulate the substance of the charism that unites us and is inspired by St Francis Xavier and St Guido Maria Conforti. Through this prayer we ask, for the mission of the Church, that the Lord be merciful with our personal inconsistencies and grant us the gift of greater openness, listening, capacity of meeting and discerning with everyone, so as to bear witness to and proclaim effectively the Gospel of Jesus Christ.

The original prayers is in Japanese but has been translated in Italian and is now offered to all.

In Japan, the third Thursday of every month is the “Day of the Xaverian Charismatic Family.”

Prayer of the Xaverian Charismatic Family

O Lord, our God, you called us from different places and gathered us for the same mission.

Guide us with your Spirit, that we may overcome distances and differences and set out on the path towards communion.

Grant us to follow the example of St Francis Xavier, who brought the Gospel beyond many borders, and grant us a heart like his capable of cherishing each encounter.

Help us, the Xaverian Charismatic Family, to respect one another, listen attentively to one another, discern together and walk together.

Support us in our weakness and give us the grace to recognize your will even in the minor events of our life journey.

Enlighten us with your Holy Spirit and lead us on the way of peace and unity.

St Guido Maria Conforti, intercede for us so that we may walk as a single family that lives out your charism.
