I membri della comunità siromalabarese che fa riferimento alla comunità saveriana di San Pietro in Vincoli hanno celebrato il loro “SPORTS DAY” sabato 27.08.2022 nel parco della casa.

L’inizio è stato salutato da tuoni, lampi e un vento gagliardo. Dopo mezz’ora è ritornato il sole e sono iniziate le gare. Erano presenti intere famiglie con piccoli e giovani. Si sono cimentati in una varietà di giochi e gare con l’immancabile partita a pallone e la condivisione di cibo. Sull’imbrunire alcuni sono partiti per le loro case e gli altri hanno concluso la giornata col rosario di fronte alla grotta della Madonna di Lourdes. (+ Giorgio Biguzzi sx)

On Saturday, August 27^th, 2022, the members of the Syro-Malabar community, for whom our Xaverian community in St Pietro in Vincoli provides a meeting venue, celebrated their “SPORTS DAY” in the park of our house.  

The start of the event was greeted by thunder and lightning, and strong wind. However, half an hour later, the sun came back and competitions could begin. There were entire families with kids and young people. They tried their hand in a variety of games and competitions, including the ever-present soccer match. They also shared food. At dusk, some left to go home, while others concluded the day by praying the rosary in front of the grotto of Our Lady of Lourdes. (+ Giorgio Biguzzi s.x.)
