Abbiamo iniziato il nostro cammino quaresimale riflettendo sul messaggio di Papa Francesco per la Quaresima 2022. Quindi ci siamo interrogati su quale magis, quale “di più” potremmo fare per poterci avvicinare maggiormente a Dio e così vivere in maniera significativa questo tempo di grazia.

Abbiamo convenuto di risparmiare sulle spese per cibo e bevande e condividere i risparmi con i più poveri del nostro vicinato. Ci siamo uniti alla comunità locale per il Mercoledì delle Ceneri, mentre la prima Via Crucis di questa Quaresima è stata fatta all’interno del nostro recinto. Questo sabato, 12 Marzo, ci incontreremo per il ritiro mensile che sarà predicato da un sacerdote Salesiano sul tema “la spiritualità della Quaresima”. Vi auguriamo una Quaresima ricca di grazie! We began our Lenten journey by reflecting on the message of Pope Francis for Lent 2022. We then asked ourselves what "magis", what is the “more” that we could do to be able to come closer to God and thus meaningfully live this time of grace?

We agreed to save some of our expenditures on food and drinks and share the proceeds with some of the poorest of our neighbourhood. We joined the local community for Ash Wednesday and the first Via Crucis of this Lent that was held inside our compound. This Saturday, March 12^th, we will meet for our monthly recollection that will be preached by a Salesian priest on the "Spirituality of Lent". We wish you a grace-filled Lent!
