I Laici Saveriani d’Italia si sono riuniti per la consueta convivenza invernale a San Pietro in Vincoli (RA), nei giorni 5-8 gennaio 2023. Momenti particolarmente significativi sono stati l’incontro esperienziale con i saveriani della comunità giovedì 05 sera; la meditazione di don Mauro Stabellini ‘Pace e Riconciliazione in “Fratelli tutti’; l’intervento di p. Matteo Rebecchi (dalle Filippine): ‘Le religioni al servizio della fraternità nel mondo”; l’assemblea utilizzando la pratica ‘World coffee’ (si tratta di un metodo semplice ed efficace nel dar vita a conversazioni informali, vivaci e costruttive, su questioni e temi che riguardano la vita di una comunità, n.d.r.) e il discernimento sulla possibile presenza missionaria in Marocco. È stata una esperienza di famiglia Saveriana molto serena che riflette e prega in proiezione al servizio missionario che sta svolgendo e che è chiamata a fare in futuro. (Rosario Giannattasio sx)

On January 5^th-8^th, 2023, the Xaverian Laity of Italy gathered in San Pietro in Vincoli (Ravenna, Italy) for the usual time together of Winter season. Some meaningful moments during those days were: the encounter with the Xaverians of that community in the evening of Thursday 5^th; Fr. Mauro Stabellin’s meditation “Peace and Reconciliation in Fratelli tutti”; the talk “Religions at the service of fraternity in the world” delivered by Fr. Matteo Rebecchi (from the Philippines); the moment of assembly characterised by the use of the so-called World Coffee activity (a simple but efficient method to start informal, lively and constructive conversations on issues and topics that touch on the life of a community – ed.); and the discernment on a possible missionary presence in Morocco. All in all, it has been a serene experience of Xaverian family that reflects and prays, mindful of the missionary service is carrying out and thinking about the one it will be asked to carry out in future.
