Se Dio vuole, dopo un anno e mezzo di cambio di date dovuto al covid-19, la Comunità Regionale Saveriana USA si riunirà presso la Casa di Ritiri dei Missionari Verbiti (SVD) Miramar, nella cittadina di Duxbury, poco a sud di Boston, Massachusetts, dal 5 al 10 settembre 2021.
"Io conosco i progetti che ho fatto a vostro riguardo... per concedervi un futuro pieno di speranza" (Ger 29,11-14). P. Fabrizio Tosolini, s.x. ci offrirà una riflessione/meditazione iniziale partendo dalla Lettera Testamento, via Zoom. Poi oltre alla elezione del nuovo Consiglio Regionale, dedicheremo un tempo a condividere le nostre esperienze di questo anno e mezzo con il virus per proporci un cammino di rinnovata speranza da qui in avanti.
Riprenderemo poi la conversazione su vari punti: salute e anzianità; 75º dei Saveriani negli USA; aggiornamento del nostro documento riguardante abusi di minori; CoSuMa 2021; "ristrutturazione"; benefattori e progetti per raccogliere fondi per la Regione e le Missioni. (Marco Marangone sx)

XVI USA REGIONAL CHAPTER
September 5-10, 2021
God willing, after about 18 months of date changes due to covid-19, the US Xaverian Regional Community will gather at Miramar Retreat Center, run by the SVD Missionaries, at Duxbury, MA, just south of Boston, on September 5-10, 2021.
"I know well the plans I have for you... to give you a future full of hope" (Jer 29:11-14). Fr. Fabrizio Tosolini s.x. will offer us - via Zoom - some initial reflection/meditation starting from the Testament Letter. Then, besides the election of the new Regional Council, we'll spend time sharing our experiences definitely affected by the virus in order to come up with a journey of renewed hope from now on. And then we'll focus our attention on the following items: Health and retirement issues; 75th Anniversary of the Xaverian Community in the USA; updating our document on Protection of children and vulnerable adults; CoSuMa 2021; "Restructuring"; Fundraising and development to support our communities in the USA and continue helping our Missions.
