The European Xaverian Forum exists to foster the cultural animation of all Xaverians in our European regions. It encourages them to discover ongoing experiences, to reflect, to research, to share, and to dare to embark on new paths of the ad gentes mission on the continent today.
It responds to the desire to sustain a process of research and reflection on the goals, methods, and structures of evangelization, as well as on the way of being present as missionaries in the European context.
Indeed, mission today brings about a genuine paradigm shift, calling us to move from a notion of presence understood mainly as missionary and vocational animation to an awareness that Europe is a “mission territory.”
The fundamental question is:
“What ad gentes mission is possible today in Europe for those who embrace the charism of Saint Guido M. Conforti?”
