God of compassion and mercy, you opened a door to Asia for Saint Francis Xavier that he might preach the Gospel. Send us to the ends of the earth that the joy of the Church, our mother, may come to its fullness. We ask this through our Lord Jesus Christ, your Son, who lives and reigns with you and the Holy Spirit, one God, for ever and ever.
