Il nostro confratello p. Rafael López Villaseñor condivide una riflessione sull’eredità del Decreto Conciliare “Ad Gentes”. Nella sua conclusione egli scrive:
“…il Concilio Vaticano II introduce una nuova concezione teologica, la Missio Dei. La missione non è più intesa come un'attività della Chiesa, ma come partecipazione al movimento trinitario dell'amore di Dio Padre, che invia il Figlio e lo Spirito per la salvezza del mondo… [La Chiesa] è chiamata a prolungare nel mondo il movimento dell'amore trinitario che esce da sé, comunica vita e crea comunione, cioè dalla missione di Dio alla missione della Chiesa…”.

Our confrere, Fr. Rafael López Villaseñor shares a reflection on the legacy of the Council Decree Ad Gentes. In his conclusion, he writes
“The Second Vatican Council introduced a new theological concept, the Missio Dei. Mission was no longer understood as an activity of the Church, but as participation in the Trinitarian movement of the love of God the Father, who sends the Son and the Spirit for the salvation of the world. … [The Church] is called to extend throughout the world the movement of Trinitarian love that flows from God, communicates life and creates communion; in other words, from God’s mission to the mission of the Church.”
