Martedì 30 dicembre 2025 è stato pubblicato il Rapporto dell'Agenzia Fides. Secondo le informazioni raccolte da Fides, nell’anno 2025, sono stati uccisi nel mondo 17 missionari e missionarie cattolici: sacerdoti, religiose, seminaristi, laici. L’ Africa è il continente più colpito, con 10 vittime, di cui 5 in Nigeria. Sono sacerdoti, catechisti, insegnanti che hanno perso la loro vita in virtù del loro impegno apostolico.

On Tuesday, December 30^th, 2025, Fides news agency released the Rapporto dell’Agenzia Fides (Fides Agency Report). Based on information collected by Fides, the report indicates that 17 Catholic missionary men and women have been murdered all over the world in the year 2025, including priests, religious, seminarians and lay Christians. Africa is the most affected continent, having the highest number of dead – 10 victims, among whom 5 in Nigeria. They were priests, catechists and teachers who lost their lives because of their pastoral commitment.
