Giovedì, 2 febbraio, Festa della Presentazione al Tempio del Signore, i nostri studenti della comunità di Vamaro (Bukavu, RDC), insieme a sei novizie dorotei di Cemmo, hanno avuto un incidente stradale mentre si recavano alla Messa organizzata dalla Conferenza dei Superiori Maggiori nella parrocchia Francescana di Nyantende. L’incidente è stato causato da guida veloce in curva dove il conducente ha perso controllo del pulmino. Tutte le persone sul mezzo sono vive. Dopo l’incidente, sono state sottoposte a controllo medico nell’ospedale di Nyantende. Sia lode a Dio: solo otto sono rimasti feriti ma senza lesioni gravi. Alle 17:30, la comunità ha organizzato una Messa di ringraziamento a Vamaro. P. Fabien Kalehezo T’Chiribuka sx ha concelebrato e, a nome della DG, ha espresso un messaggio di solidarietà. Thursday, February 2^nd, feast of the Presentation of the Lord at the Temple, our students of the community of Vamaro (Bukavu, D.R. Congo) together with 6 Dorothea Novices of Cemmo were involved in a road accident while going to the Mass organized by the Conference of Major Superiors in the Franciscan parish of Nyantende. The accident was due to speeding on a bend where the driver lost control of the van. All people on-board are alive.  After the accident, they underwent a medical check-up at Nyantende hospital. Praise be to God, only 8 were wounded but without serious injuries. At 5:30 p.m., the community organised a thanksgiving mass in Vamaro. Fr Fabien Kalehezo T'Chiribuka s.x. concelebrated and on behalf of the General Direction gave a message of compassion. (Louis Birabaluge s.x.)
