Dal 25 gennaio 2021 - Festa della Conversione di San Paolo e conclusione della Settimana di Preghiera per l’unità dei Cristiani - al 30 Gennaio 2021 sul Sito della DG è stato pubblicato un editoriale in francese, inglese e italiano che contiene l’introduzione scritta dal nostro confratello p. Louis Birabalugue - che lavora a Freetown, Sierra Leone - al numero 15 di Cahiers del Centro Studi Africani dedicato al Pentecostalismo in Africa.

La domanda che si pone p. Louis è: dovremmo forse pensare che il movimento ecumenico non abbia futuro? Il Quaderno risponde che tale futuro è possibile ma a certe condizioni. Questo nuovo spirito ecumenico chiede che i cattolici acquisiscano una comprensione del fenomeno dei cristiani neo-pentecostali da cui dipende l’espandersi del cristianesimo nel mondo di oggi. From January 25^th – 2021 – Feast of the Conversion of St. Paul and conclusion of the Week of Prayer for Christian Unity – an editorial was published on the DG’s website  in French, English and Italian.  It contains the introduction written by our confrere Fr. Louis Birabaluge – who works in Freetown, Sierra Leone – at the number 15, cahiers - of the Center for Studies dedicated to Pentecostalism in Africa-

Fr. Louis’s question is: “Should we think that the ecumenical movement has no future?”  The Notebok replies that such a future is possible but under certain conditions.  This new ecumenical spirit demands that Catholics acquire an understanding of the phenomenon of neo-Pentecostal  Christians on which the expansion of Christianity in today’s world depends.  To read the editorial by Fr.
