Lo scorso 18 giugno 2025, il nostro confratello p. Carl Chudy è stato brevemente intervistato dalla locale Catholic TV del Massachusetts per illustrare il significato del Giubileo della Speranza, giacché il nostro Santuario di Nostra Signora di Fatima è stato designato quale Centro di Pellegrinaggio dall’Arcidiocesi di Boston: https://youtu.be/Q88a-uXGul0.

P. Carl ha presentato le attività in corso al Santuario, dove i pellegrini possono recarsi in qualsiasi giorno per pregare, celebrare l’Eucaristia e recitare il santo Rosario lungo la Passeggiata del Rosario. Il Santuario è un luogo di preghiera e silenzio, non solo per i cattolici, ma anche per le altre chiese e fedi religiose. E’ pure un centro di accoglienza per riunioni interreligiose – cristiani, ebrei, buddisti, bahai, mussulmani e hindu del Massachusetts.

In risposta alla Laudato si’ di papa Francesco, il santuario sta portando avanti anche un progetto di apicultura e un piano per l’allevamento della farfalla monarca nel giardino. (Vivinio Matugas Buhawe Jr. Joeven sx)

Last June 18, 2025, our confrere Fr. Carl Chudy was interviewed by the local Catholic TV in Massachusetts on the Jubilee of Hope since our Shrine – Our Lady of Fatima was designated as the Pilgrim Center by the Archdiocese of Boston: https://youtu.be/Q88a-uXGul0

Fr. Carl illustrated the on-going activities carried out at the Shrine where pilgrims can come on any day to pray and celebrate the Eucharist and recite the holy Rosary in the Rosary Walk.  The Shrine is a place of prayer and peace not only for Catholics but also for other churches and religious faiths. It is also a welcoming center for interfaith gathering – Christians, Jews, Buddhist, Bahai, Muslims, Hindus in Massachusetts.

There is also a “Honeybee” project going-on and a plan to raise a “Monarch Butterfly” in the garden in response to the “Laudato Si’ ” of Pope Francis. (Vivinio Matugas Buhawe Jr. Joeven sx)
