Madrid, 22 gennaio 2015.
Questo pomeriggio, nella nostra Casa saveriana di Carabanchel-Madrid-SPAGNA, è iniziato il Convegno sull'Animazione Vocazionale, convocato dalla DG. per gli Animatori Vocazionali delle Circoscrizioni dell'Europa + USA. Sono presenti: per la Spagna, Carlos Collantes D., Paulino Ramìrez C., Rolando Ruiz D. e Gigi Signori; per il United Kingdom: Ian Bathgate e Patrick Duffy; per l'Italia: Benjamin Mugisho B., Enzo Tonini, Serge Tchatché T. e Simone Piccolo; per gli Stati Uniti: Rocco Puopolo e Alejandro Rodrìguez G.; per la Delegazione Centrale: Paolo Gallo. Coordina il Convegno l'incaricato della DG. per la AMV. il P. Antonio Lòpez Villaseñor, coadiuvato dal Vicario Generale, P. Mario C. Mula.
Si è trattato di una seduta introduttoria: in primo luogo si sono stabiliti e fissati i vari ruoli e i tempi di svolgimento necessari per il buon andamento del Convegno; nella seconda parte, il P. Vicario Generale ha messo a fuoco questo Convegno di AMV. dentro la dinamica attuale della nostra Congregazione: come per tutte le persone e settori è in corso lo sforzo del "riposizionarci e ripartire dal primo annuncio", così tocca anche all'AV.; è evidente, oltretutto, l'urgenza che hanno le Circoscrizioni dell'Europa + gli USA di "ripensare" questa attività nella sua totalità, data la scarsezza attuale di vocazioni saveriane.

This afternoon, the Vocation Animation Meeting for Vocation Animators of the Circumscriptions of Europe and the United States of America began in the house of Carabanchel. The Meeting was convened by the General Direction and the following confreres are taking part: Carlos Collantes D., Paulino Ramìrez C., Rolando Ruiz D. and Gigi Signori (Spain); Ian Bathgate and Patrick Duffy (UK); Benjamin Mugisho B., Enzo Tonini, Serge Tchatché T. and Simone Piccolo (Italy); Rocco Puopolo and Alejandro Rodrìguez G. (USA); Paolo Gallo (Central Delegation). Fr. Antonio Lòpez Villaseñor, the General Councilor in charge of Missionary-Vocation Animation, is coordinating the Meeting with the help of the Vicar General, Fr. Mario C. Mula.
The introductory meeting decided the various roles and deadlines for the smooth running of the work; the Vicar General then presented the Meeting within the wider current context of our Congregation: just as all our personnel and sectors are making the effort to "begin again from the First Proclamation ", it is now the turn of Vocation Animation to engage in this task; given the shortage of candidates to Xaverian life in Europe and the USA, it is obviously vitally important that they “rethink” this activity in its totality.
