Tenendo in considerazione che i primi saveriani sono arrivati qui solo 11 anni fa, noi ci sentiamo ancora all’inizio della nostra presenza in Tailandia. La decisione di aprire questa missione e i suoi primi passi sono certamente l’espressione dell’amore per la nostra famiglia saveriana ed è anche una risposta alle esigenze della nostra vocazione, che è sempre dinamica e attiva. Al momento presente abbiamo tre comunità.
Una di esse è una comunità mista, dove i padri vivono insieme con 10 laici, thailandesi e stranieri. Un’altra comunità è situata vicino a un ostello per bambini poveri, costruito e diretto dai saveriani.
As the first Xaverians arrived only 11 years ago, we still feel we are at the beginning of our presence here in Thailand. The decision to open this mission and the first steps are for sure the expression of the love for our Xaverian family and it is an answer to the needs of our vocation, which is always dynamic and active.
In this moment, we have three communities. One of these communities is a mixed community where the fathers live with 10 lay people, Thai and foreigners. Another community is close to a boarding house for poor children, built and run by the Xaverians.
