DIREZIONE GENERALE
Il 28 febbraio termina il Consiglio Generale. Durante questa ultima fase sono stati presi in esame i passi che le Circoscrizioni stanno facendo per rendere operative le linee date dal XVI Capitolo Generale sulla necessità di ristrutturarsi e di riposizionarci.
Il 3 marzo P. Antonio López e Mons. G. Biguzzi, assieme a due Consigliere Generali delle Suore del PIME, partono per una visita di 10 giorni in Sud Sudan. Saranno ospiti dei Padri Comboniani.
INDONESIA
Jakarta: nel contesto del Dialogo Interreligioso, la comunità dello Studentato Filosofico ha ospitato l'incontro con Mariana Amiruddin su "Radicalismo nell'Islam". La speaker ha raccontato come durante l'adolescenza era entrata a far parte di un gruppo fondamentalista e come ne è uscita.

Parma, Biblioteca Conforti: il patrimonio librario della Biblioteca al 31 dicembre 2014 era di 68.455 volumi. Di essi 54.257 sono presenti nel catalogo informatico.

ROMA
Pontificia Università Urbaniana, 24 febbraio: presieduta da P. Generale è stata celebrata l’Eucarestia di suffragio per P. B. Mondin, Professore e Decano emerito. La numerosa partecipazione dei Docenti e degli Studenti è stata segno di riconoscenza e di affetto all’attività del nostro confratello.
DEFUNTI
L’ex confratello Stellio Valle. Aveva 78 anni; era stato ordinato nel ’61 e aveva ottenuto la dispensa nel’75. (24 feb).

GENERAL DIRECTION
Rome, 28 Feb: conclusion of the current session of the General Council. During this last phase, the Council examined the steps being taken in the Circumscriptions to implement the guidelines given by the XVI General Council on the necessity to restructure and make a new beginning.
3 Mar: Fr. Antonio and López and Bishop Giorgio Biguzzi will travel to South Sudan on a ten-day visit, accompanied by two General Councilors of the PIME Sisters. They will be guests of the Comboni Missionaries during their stay.

Jakarta: as part of the Interreligious Dialogue, the Philsophy student community hosted a meeting with Mariana Amiruddin on "Radicalism in Islam". The speaker described how she joined a fundamentalist group when she was an adolescent, and how she managed to leave the group.

During the year 2014, the website (https://bibliotecasaveriana.wordpress.com/) received 4.388 visits from 32 different countries. Among them were all the countries in which the Xaverians are currently working.

Pontifical Urbaniana University, 24 Feb: The Superior General presided at the Eucharist for the repose of the soul of Fr. B. Mondin, who was emeritus Lecturer and Dean at the University. The teaching staff and students attended in large numbers, a sign of friendship and gratitude for our late confrere’s activity.
IN MEMORIAM
24 Feb: Our former confrere Stellio Valle, aged 78. He was ordained in 1961 band obtained a dispensation in 1975.
