Speaking of pastoral creativity in these lockdown times, we are happy to share this video from the Xaverian parish of St. Francis Xavier, in the Philippines. In the Philippines, but not only there, the rites of Holy Week - and especially the via Crucis of Good Friday - are a real religious and cultural event, with a massive participation of thousands of faithful.
This year, for the well-known reasons, no public via Crucis will be possible in the Philippines. Fr. Francisco Javier Beltrán, sx, using the images of the via Crucis made during the Holy Week of 2019, has elaborated this video. Thus, even in times of Covid-19, the families of the parish and not only them, will be able to celebrate the via Crucis from their home and at the same time feel part of their Christian community.

Parlando di creatività pastorale in questi tempi di lockdown, condividiamo volentieri questo video dalla nostra parrocchia San Francesco Saverio, nelle Filippine.
Nelle Filippine, ma non solo, i riti della settimana santa – e soprattutto la via crucis del Venerdì Santo – sono un vero e proprio evento religioso e culturale, con la partecipazione di massa di migliaia di fedeli, praticanti e non.
Quest’anno, per i motivi noti, anche nelle Filippine, non si potrà realizzare alcuna via crucis pubblica. P. Francisco Javier Beltrán, sx, usando le immagini della via crucis realizzate durante la settimana santa del 2019, ha elaborato questo video. Così, anche in tempi di Covid-19, le famiglie della parrocchia e non, potranno celebrare la via crucis da casa loro e sentirsi allo stesso tempo parte della loro comunità cristiana.
